| 'Thar she blows ...!!" Yippee! What a thrill, the first time we spotted a humpback whale in the bay between the islands near Neiafu, I'm sure our family back in Australia must have heard our screams and shouts. This area is known as a top class whale watching area, as the mothers come here every year to calve, and nurse their newborn calfs until they can make the trip back down south. | |
